What is Mevlana Exchange Program?
Mevlana Exchange Program is a program that makes it possible to exchange students and teaching staff between higher education institutions providing education in the country and higher education institutions providing education abroad. With the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 23 August 2011 and numbered 28034, the way for the exchange of students and lecturers between higher education institutions abroad and higher education institutions in our country has been paved.
Unlike other exchange programs, the mobility within the exchange program includes higher education institutions all over the world, regardless of any geographical region.
Students who want to participate in the exchange program for at least one, at most two semesters of education; lecturers can benefit from the program to teach in higher education institutions around the world for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 3 months. Similarly, students and lecturers from all parts of the world can come to higher education institutions in Turkey.
In the 2013-2014 academic year, higher education institutions in the countries included in the Erasmus Program were excluded from the scope of the Mevlana Exchange Program.
The primary purpose of the Mevlana Exchange Program is to exchange students and teaching staff between higher education institutions providing education in the country and higher education institutions providing education abroad.
